I have a good news today, which is I finished my draft last night after I got back to my dorm from the library. Although I have finished the whole draft, there is still something I want to put into my final paper. In the last conference on Thursday, I mentioned that I wanted to use some examples about the negative effects of peer rejection from other literature work, such as a novel or a movie. Ms. Chambers said I could do it as part of the implication to show that this topic is a common thesis written for the audience primarily made up by adolescents and to give the members inside a group an idea of how the rejected ones feel. I think it is a good idea to quote from other literature work, but disappointedly, I could not find any. I thought I have read some books on this topic; however, by the time for me to write about them, they all disappear from my mind. So if any of you can think of an example from other books or movies, please leave a comment and tell me about it. I appreciate it.
Something I am feeling really bad about is that I didn’t get to the chance to go to the writing center last week. I was planning on going, one reason is for the extra credit, and the other reason is that I really want someone who is expert on editing to look at my paper and give me some constructive advice. However, when I started to do reservation, there were only two time periods open and I have classes during both of the time periods. I will probably go this week.
I would recommend go to the writing center soon. It definitely helps.
ReplyDeleteMoost of my sources come from internet, and i think i also need to find something in book. Informations from books are easier to cite, butit needs longer time to read.
