The two people that relate to me the closest are my dad and my mom. I do not want to blog about my mom because when I was in elementary and middle school, my mom was very strict to me on my study. So that time, I actually hated her. Well, now, I don’t obviously and I think she is the greatest mom in the world. However, since I have been away from her for about three years, and the only time we can spend together is during summer breaks, I do not quite know about her life that much. So I chose to write about my dad.
My dad was almost thirty when I was born. But the weird thing was he didn’t seem to have aging problems. I have seen a picture taken when I was a little baby. My dad looked just like a big naughty boy in that picture. As I grew up, my dad is always the good guy and my mom is always the bad one. So I was closer to my dad when I was young. The best thing that happened was when my dad went to the teacher-parent conference instead of my mom. Every time when my mom came back from the conference, she would blame me for not getting good grades and would compare me to the top students in my class. That part was my last thing I want to talk about. However, that time when my dad came back home, he did not put the blame on me; instead, he said I had made some progress and encouraged me to work harder. Although it was the only time my dad went, I was so happy.
Now I know that both of my parents want me to be good and want the best out of me. And I love them equally. Every summer break when I go back to China, I want to spend every minute with my mom and dad so that when I come back the US, I won’t regret about just wasting my time hanging around.
Mom and Dad always have different thoughts and ways to make you a better person. They may use completely different ways, like your dad is always encourage you while your mom is pretty strict to you. However, they have the final goal which is to make you a better person with outstanding grades and nice personality. My parents are exactly like yours and I just want to thank them both to the way they raised me.

ReplyDeleteMom and dad always play optional sides in my life. Dad is always nice, and mom is a little mean to me~~~ Some people say girls always like dad better than mom, and boys always like mom better than dad.... it is a little weird.

ReplyDeleteHah hah, my mom is also very strict to me but my dad is much more gentle. Maybe the saying that the daughter is the past life lover of the dad is ture.
