No.52: A Trip

The trip I like the best is the trip my dad and I took to Orlando, Florida during a break in my senior year in high school. I don’t quite remember what break was, but I know it was raining almost all the time when we were there. Talking about Orlando, the first thing we think of would be the Disney World. That was exactly where we went to! It was a lot of fun there and I enjoyed everything in it. The Disney World is divided into four different themes, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom.

In the morning of the first day we went to Magic Kingdom. Magic Kingdom is the place filled with characters from all the Disney shows, like Snow White and Cinderella. Small kids will enjoy it the most, but definitely not me as a teenager already. I used to love the Magic Kingdom when I was ten years old and went to the Disneyland in California for the first time. It was fun, but now I looked at it and felt it was kind of childish. So we did not spend a ton of time in the Magic Kingdom. Then in the afternoon, we went to the Epcot. It became my favorite place in the world. Epcot contains the fantastic technology that may become true one day in the future. To make it easy to understand, it is like a sci-fi setting. The best attraction is the Mission: Space. It made me feel like a spaceman that had traveled to the moon on a mission. In this attraction, we entered a space ship and experienced the weightlessness and the atmospheric pressure. It was a lot of fun! Just when we finished the Mission: Space, it started to rain and really hard. So we did not have the chance to explore more about the Epcot.

The next day, we went to the Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom. They were alright but not as fantastic as Epcot. To tell the truth, we only planned to go to two of the theme parks because we only had two days. And my dad let me do the choices on which two we would go to. However, we actually went to all four of them. So I did not miss any of the fun part in Disney World, Orlando.
