I have been worrying about my scheduling on next Tuesday for a long time now. Right now I am only a Pre-Business student. Because my GPA for last quarter was not very good, I did not get admitted into my major I want to take. Almost everyone I know was accepted, so I felt kind of depressed. That’s why I have decided to work harder from this quarter on to pull my cumulated GPA up.
Ok. So I was looking for the classes I want to take for next quarter. I actually planned out my schedule like a month ago and I was hoping that the classes I want to take won’t be full when it is time for me to schedule. My plan was to take Theater 100, Chemistry 100, Accounting 211, and Chinese 251. However, Chinese 251 was already full two weeks ago, so I looked up something else, Comparative Studies 301. It sounds interesting to me because in the course description, it says this class is to discover “love” in myths and literatures. So I was kind of excited to take that class. When I checked for its status today, there is only one seat left. I don’t think it can keep open when I schedule. So I will have to look up for something else again.
As for Chemistry 100, it is still open, but it has time conflict with Accounting 211. I chose to do this class because I want to get rid of Physics (I am taking Physics 111 this quarter). Then I realized it was impossible for me to do that. I will have to take Physics 112 to make it a natural science sequence. And I don’t even know if I can get into Accounting 211 yet. It says in the note section that the class is reserved for UBUS and UEXP/M&I. I have no idea what those two abbreviations stand for.
Sorry about this blog sounding like whining. I cannot help it. Sorry about it again.
I am only going to take three classes next quarter and I'm planning taking theater 100,too!
ReplyDeleteI might be taking that comparative studies class! I herd it was very interesting.
ReplyDeletePicking classes is really troublesome.
